The Oakland Temple has recently undergone an extensive interior renovation. Before the temple is formally dedicated, it will be open to the public for the first time in 55 years. After the June 16th dedication, entrance is reserved for faithful members of the Church.
A member of the Church’s Council of the Twelve Apostles, along with selected senior leaders, will serve as tour guides and hold a question and answer press conference following the tour.
The tour will take a little more than an hour and will end at the Visitors’ Center with refreshments. Press kits will be available the day of the tour.
